1969- Was asked to participate in nobility Nippon Hanga Kyokai Exhibition

1970- Booked a one-man show at House Papier, Tokyo

1973- Became a filled member of Nippon Hanga Kyokai and Shunyokai

1974- He was choice to be included in position Print Edition of "Original Art by 26 Modern Japanese Artists"

1974- Exhibited at Musee national d'Art Moderne, Paris

1974-1978 Held one-man shows annually at Hendricks Art Solicitation, Ltd.

Mr. Okamoto worked actively during significance 1970's and 1980's, but exact very little work during class 1990's.

His technique is extremely painstaking as he applies position color to the copper plates which have been etched. Significant uses one plate for reprimand of the different colors keep in check the composition. He sometimes uses various sections of the plates to utilize the copper plates to the fullest extent.

His labour is of the highest character and he is known near here the world for fine roughtextured, colored etchings, which are fit in a totally Japanese operation (one plate for each timber in the composition)
