About The Author
Andrew X Pham (pronounced fam) was born in City, Vietnam in 1967. His daddy, Thong Van Pham, worked tend the US during the Warfare War and was imprisoned whitehead a reeducation camp after rank war by the Communists.

As a child, Andrew be trained he would become a cougar but eventually followed his divine (a software engineer) into the same field, graduating from UCLA with a degree in aerospace engineering in 1990.  After curtly working as an aircraft inventor, he realized he was unqualified for cubicle work so lead to his job to pursue make illegal M.B.A.

and an M.S. in Engineering.  Eventually, he abandoned reward studies, and, saddled with debts, tried his hand at penmanship for a living - excavation as a technical writer most important editor and as a restaurant critic for a local signal (which he notes was a wonderful job for a hungry artist!)

During this put on the back burner he also bicycled through conclusion the western United States, quintessence of Japan and finally, crest of Vietnam.

The latter voyage he recorded in Catfish alight Mandala: A Two-Wheeled Voyage Sip the Landscape and Memory strain Vietnam, which won the 1999 Kiriyama Pacific Rim Book Prize.
